Thanks to all the people who came to the (alter-ego/secret) gig on Wednesday night, we enjoyed it thoroughly! If you stayed to watch the bands after us you will have been treated to the future sounds of Starbase 109 (http://www.starbase109.co.uk/ ). They are Salford's answer to Kraftwerk and amazing! On a sadder note, last night was the first gig without Invincible Mat (after he moved to London), we all missed him."

Sparring With Melinda, a band wholly unrelated to Invincible Counter Offensive, are playing a secret gig at bafflingly popular Manchester student cesspit Jabez Clegg tomorrow (Wednesday 18 May). It's £3 to get in and there's some other bands playing too.

We now have our own page on the Manchester Music band directory. As you can see, there is not much on there at the moment apart from a link to a review of our demo, but hopefully they'll add some stuff soon?

I lied when I said last saturday was I.Mat's last night out. In fact he is going out tonight. The word on the grapevine is that he is going to the Irish Club in Chorlton, so if you read this news section thang on a daily basis and fancy going out, then please feel free to join Mat and I'm sure you'll be made to feel welcome.

Morning folks! Sadly Saturday night was the final night Invincible Mat ventured out before moving down to London. He has taken up a career as a contortionist but has promised that this will not stop him from giving his all for the band. If you would like to make any financial contributions to Mat to help him with his train fare please e-mail us.

Hello, as you may have noticed the website has been redesigned. The redesign/restructure/general gubbinations is down to creative/technical genius Matt Keehan. If you would like some work doing by Matt, he can be contacted by clicking here.

On a more serious note, Invincible Mat has burnt his fingers. I wish it had been a proverbially burning during some nefarious criminal activity but unfortunatley it was an actual burning. On a lighter note he's almost better.
